Tata Chemicals Ltd is planning to expand its Mithapur plant capacity in Gujarat. The project involves increasing cement production capacity from 787000 tpa to 900000 tpa. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 1334 million. As of July 2018, the project is in the process of getting statutory clearances.
