Continuum Wind Energy, a subsidiary of Trinethra Wind & Hydro Power is planning to set up a 101 MW wind power project in Rajkot in Gujarat. The company has awarded the EPC contract to Vestas India. The scope of work involves delivery, installation and commissioning of 46 V120-2.2MW turbines, as well as the project’s civil and electrical work. The project may go operational by second quarter of 2019.
Besides implementation, Vestas will also take up of maintenance of the project for a period of fifteen years – full scope Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement, as well as a Vestas Online Business SCADA solution.
