SNF Flopam India is planning to set up a chemical unit in Varsanna in Kutch district of Gujarat. The project involves setting up of manufacturing facilities with a production capacity of 258,000 tpa of synthetic organic chemicals.
It will produce Acrylamide (100 %) (120,000 tpa), Poly Acrylamide Powder (60,000 tpa), Poly Acrylamide Liquid (42,000 tpa), Poly Acrylamide Emulsions(36,000 tpa). Land required for the project is around 70 acres which is already available. The project cost is estimated at ₹ 4,000 million. As of June 2019, the project is in planning stage.
