Ultratech Cement is planning to expand its Kutch cement unit in Vayoor village in Abdasa Taluk in Kutch district of Gujarat. The project involves expanding clinker production capacity from 4.0 mtpa to 8.0 mtpa and captive power plant capacity from 55 MW to 160 MW. The project cost is estimated at ₹ 35,000 million. The company has a captive limestone reserve.
