Gujarat government is planning to set up a ceramics park near the Morbi ceramic cluster in Gujarat. The planned industrial park at Morbi will cater to the ceramics industry and ancillary units. It will improve facilities like road upgradation, water supply, CFCs, ancillary units, dry port and common display centres. The nodal agency for the project is GIDC. It will have an area of 500 ha of land.
It may be noted that, Morbi ceramic cluster has around 800 ceramic units.
