Deendayal Port Authority is partnering with Cochin Shipyard Ltd to develop ship-repair hub in Vadinar in Devbhumi Dwarka district of Gujarat. The project involves setting up of outfitting jetty and civil construction of two floating docks with an investment of ₹ 7000 million. The hub will have the capacity to repair 32 vessels annually. As of Jan 2025, the project is awaiting approval from Union Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways.
