BIC Cello, a partner of Bic Clichy of France has commissioned a new manufacturing facility in Vapi in Gujarat. The new plant was set up with an investment of ₹ 3,000 million. Currently, the company runs seven manufacturing facilities across Daman and Diu, Haridwar in India. However, the Vapi facility will be largest one, from where it will produce ballpoint pens, gel pens, and mechanical pencils, among others. The plant will also export goods. It may be noted that, Bic Clichy has acquired Cello in the year 2015.
