Shree Govardhan Sugar Industries is planning to set up a distillery in Kukarmunda in Surat district of Gujarat. The project involves setting up of a 30 klpd distillery which will produce rectified spirit. The project cost is estimated at ₹ 500 million. The project is likely to go operational by the year 2021.
As of November 2019, the project is in planning stage and is awaiting statutory clearances.
